Ingredients
Every intentionally added ingredient in our products, what it does, and where it comes from. Cleaning products are not required to carry a full ingredient list in most of the United States. We publish one anyway.
This page is maintained in line with the California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act (SB 258). It applies to every bottle we sell, not only those sold in California.
A note on where we are. We are moving our full range onto fully disclosed bases. None of our five products has completed that move in production yet. Full ingredient lists will be published here, product by product, as each one is finished and actually on the shelf. Below, for Clean Home and Fresh Bath, we publish what we currently know, and we say plainly where that falls short. We would rather show you an honest, partial page than a complete-looking one we cannot stand behind.
A note on scent. Our fragrances are fragrance oils, not essential oils. Most are phthalate-free and paraben-free per our suppliers; two components used in some blends have not yet returned documentation confirming this, and we say so below where relevant. We think the distinction matters and we would rather say it plainly than let the word “natural” do work it has not earned.
What we do claim
Small batch, made by hand in Texas. One scent, YAMBA, across every bottle in the home range, built from fragrance oils that are phthalate-free and paraben-free wherever we have documentation confirming it.
Full ingredient lists, published, with nothing held back as proprietary, as each product finishes its move to a disclosed base.
That is what clean means to us. Not a badge somebody sold us, and not a word doing work it has not earned. It means you can read every line of what is in the bottle, and decide for yourself whether it belongs in your home and around the people in it.
Clean Home — Multi-Surface Cleaner
Currently reformulating onto a fully disclosed base. Below is what we currently know about the base this product ships on today.

What this list does not cover. This is the fullest composition detail available to us for this base today. Approximately 7% of it is not identified in any documentation we have. The product is a clear purple liquid; no colourant is named in any documentation we have. No preservative is named in a product that is majority water. We have not been provided data on trace 1,4-dioxane, a manufacturing byproduct sometimes associated with ethoxylated ingredients. One component of the YAMBA fragrance blend has not returned allergen or phthalate/paraben documentation. We are working to close these gaps, either through additional documentation or by moving this product onto a base with full disclosure, and we will update this page the moment that happens.
This product is formulated as a general-purpose degreaser and has not been separately formulated, tested, or certified for use on food-contact surfaces.
Fresh Bath — Bathroom Cleaner
Currently on the same base as Clean Home, carrying the YAMBA fragrance blend, while we develop a fully disclosed in-house formula. The same base composition and the same gaps apply: approximately 7% of the base is not identified in any documentation we have, no colourant is named despite the product's colour, no preservative is named, and we have no data on trace 1,4-dioxane. The YAMBA fragrance blend has not yet been quantified or allergen-screened for this page. This page will be updated as soon as the reformulated version is on sale.

What this list does not cover. The base is PathoSans electrolysed water; the supplier describes the process only as salt, water, and electricity, with no fuller compositional breakdown offered beyond the sodium hydroxide it yields. The lemongrass oil is sourced from Virginia Candle Supply, which has not provided CAS or allergen documentation. pH has not yet been independently measured, so this product's hazard classification remains provisional. The Green Seal certification held by the PathoSans concentrate applies to that concentrate as supplied, not to this diluted, rebottled product, and we do not claim it.

What this list does not cover. Lemongrass and eucalyptus carry full supplier allergen declarations; salty sea and cedarwood do not. This formula contains no ethanol and no alcohol.

What this list does not cover. The base is fully documented by CAS number from our supplier. The fragrance blend is citrus spine, cedarwood, and eucalyptus; bergamot was previously listed on this page in error and has been removed with nothing added in its place. Individual oil percentages and allergen data for this fragrance blend have not yet been quantified.
Designated lists
California SB 258 requires manufacturers to identify any ingredient appearing on one of 23 designated lists of chemicals of concern. Those lists are published together by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control and can be read here: dtsc.ca.gov/scp/authoritative-lists.
We are completing that screening across our full range and will publish the result for every ingredient here, with a direct link to each list an ingredient appears on.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim our products are natural or all-natural. Some ingredients are synthetic and we name them.
- We do not claim our products disinfect, sanitise, or kill germs. They are not registered with the EPA for that purpose.
- We do not describe our fragrances as essential oils. They are fragrance oils.
- We do not claim our ingredients are sourced in Australia. The coast is where the scents come from, not the supply chain.
