Ingredients
Every intentionally added ingredient in our products, what it does, and where it comes from. Cleaning products are not required to carry a full ingredient list in most of the United States. We publish one anyway.
This page is maintained in line with the California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act (SB 258). It applies to every bottle we sell, not only those sold in California.
A note on where we are. We are part-way through moving our home range onto a new, fully disclosed base. Clean Home has completed that move and its full ingredient list appears below. Fresh Bath, Clear View, Coastal Mist and Coastal Wash are being reformulated onto disclosed bases now, and each will be published here as it is finished. We would rather show you an honest, partial page than a complete-looking one we cannot stand behind.
A note on scent. Our fragrances are fragrance oils, not essential oils. They are phthalate-free and paraben-free. We think the distinction matters and we would rather say it plainly than let the word “natural” do work it has not earned.
What we do claim
Small batch, made by hand in Texas. Scents drawn from the Australian coast, built from fragrance oils free of phthalates and parabens. Surfactants derived from plants. Alcohol derived from sugarcane. No dyes. No ethoxylated alcohols.
And a full ingredient list, published, with nothing held back as proprietary.
That is what clean means to us. Not a badge somebody sold us, and not a word doing work it has not earned. It means you can read every line of what is in the bottle, and decide for yourself whether it belongs in your home and around the people in it.

Designated lists
California SB 258 requires manufacturers to identify any ingredient appearing on one of 23 designated lists of chemicals of concern. We are completing that screening across our full range and will publish the results here, with links to each relevant list, once it is finished.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim our products are natural or all-natural. Some ingredients are synthetic and we name them.
- We do not claim our products are preservative-free. Clean Home contains phenoxyethanol.
- We do not claim our products disinfect, sanitise, or kill germs. They are not registered with the EPA for that purpose.
- We do not describe our fragrances as essential oils. They are fragrance oils.
- We do not claim our ingredients are sourced in Australia. The coast is where the scents come from, not the supply chain.
